The latest and greatest

So I promised I would try to update this thing more often, and I am a woman of my word. I may not have much to add, but I will add!

Lets see, the twins have no started pre-K and they LOVE it. Thank goodness, Cami came home after the first day and said "school is AWESOME" I feel the same way buddy! alone time for even a couple of hours three days a week is HEAVEN! I am able to run errands in peace and quiet, grocery shopping, cleaning, ahhhh so nice. I love their pre school because it is so structured, there are so many pre schools that are just more of a glorified day care and they really don't have much of a curriculum. This school is very organized and the kids are so well behaved...great job miss Sarah!!

I can't believe it is football season as well Fawn! The summer just flew by. but this is a favorite season for our house. WE ARE...PENN STATE!!! We are going to the Game next Saturday at PSU, and taking Dom for the first time, I can't wait to take him, such a great experience! Dominik is a sports freak and can tell you everything there is to know about every player...trust me, that's the ONLY reason I know anything about any of this stuff. He won't shut up about it!! ;o) BTW he is taking after his mother with a love of music...WE all know I never stop singing ( I know how annoying it is, whatever!) He is the same way and is now in chorus, I must say, I'm very proud...nothing better than music!

im horrible at this i know!!

I never feel like i have anything interesting to put on here, but i promise i will try to add to this more often, otherwise, whats the point, right? ;o)

The kids have started school and so far Dominik is loving the 5th grade. He got the "mean" teacher that he absolutely did not want, but she's turning out to be "kinda cool" go figure. The twins start pre-K This coming Monday and I cannot wait!! I guess they are a little excited too ;o) Unfortunately, our school district is like the only school district in the WORLD who's age cut off for kindergarten in August 1st, therefore, the twins are ineligible to start because their birthday is on the 10th. UGGGHHH! So frustrating to get that news, but they will start all day kindergarten next year.

Over the holiday weekend, we decided to take advantage of our last chance to hit an amusement park, so we went to Dorney. It is a local amusement park, but so much fun...like a mini Disneyland (shorter lines) but just as pricey! 140 bucks just to get the 5 of us in!!! It was worth it. We forgot our camera so had to rely on the trusty cell phone to take those memorable shots. Dominik went on all the big rides with Dad and his older cousins, I took the kids on the kiddie rides, that works for me being as I freak out on just the little kids rides!

Beach fun!!

FUN IN THE SUN! Glenn turned the big 35 this year, so I thought I would take him away to the beach & take his mind (or what's left of it) off of his age ;o) We went to Ocean City MD which is soooo much fun. It's just a great family experience to walk the same boardwalk that you know has been walked since the early 1900's.
We had so much fun just swimming in the water, getting knocked around by the waves and playing in the sand with the kids. Dominik had a blast finding crayfish (ewww!) and Hannah had a blast finding DEAD JELLY FISH!!! How scary that was! She walked up giggling "mommy look what I found" I look down and hanging over the sides of her tiny hand is a large grapefruit size jellyfish, thank goodness it was dead. I yelled to drop it, we kicked it and ran away. ahhhhh the joys of having small children.
We walked up and down the boardwalk and looked at all the neat shops. Ate some famous Dempsey's ice cream and ate at the famous Phillips all you can eat seafood...Glenn was in heaven, I stuck to chicken and pasta thank you. The kids had a great time at the carnival off the boardwalk (we went broke there!) and a blast at the hotels indoor pool. I can't wait to go back A.S.A.P. Although, we're thinking Mexico next year!
